The Client Payroll Briefing

Who we are

The Client Payroll Briefing is a virtual event for UK payroll bureaus and client payroll professionals, organised by Your Payroll Team Ltd. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@clientpayrollbriefing.live.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into the registration form on this website. That is your name, work email address, job title, organisation, business type, role, information about the payroll work you do, your topics of interest, whether you would like to take part in networking, any question you submit for the speakers, and your consent choices. If your business type or role falls outside client payroll, we also collect the reason you give for requesting a place.

We never ask for payment card details, bank details, passwords, or national insurance numbers. If a page claiming to be this event asks you for any of those, it is not us — please tell us.

Why we use it

To review your registration, confirm or decline your place, send you the joining details, and run the event. Where you have opted in, we also use your email address to send news about future events. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing us.

How it is stored and shared

Registration details are held in our event database, accessible only to the organising team through an authenticated admin area. We do not sell your data. We share it only with the platform used to host the virtual event so that your attendee access can be created, and where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Registration records are kept for up to 24 months after the event so that we can handle follow-up queries and invite you to the next briefing, then deleted. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@clientpayrollbriefing.live and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
